Appearance of the plants

The plant structure leans slightly toward sativa, with a noticeable stretch during early flowering and a Christmas tree-like shape inherited from its Haze lineage. Buds tend to grow long and tightly stacked, forming dense, compact flowers with a very high calyx-to-leaf ratio.

Resin production is strong, giving the buds a frosty, sticky finish. Some phenotypes can show purple or reddish hues late in flowering, especially under cooler conditions, adding to the visual appeal.

Taste & smell

As the name suggests, this strain is all about citrus. Expect a mix of fresh lemon zest and sweet orange peel, with hints of grapefruit and lime layered in. The lemon side can come across slightly sharp and “hazy,” while the orange brings a softer, sweeter balance.

Some phenotypes add a light earthy or musky background, giving the overall profile more complexity than a simple fruit strain. It’s a clean, expressive terpene profile that really stands out when properly cured.

Effects

Lemon Orange delivers a balanced high that starts on the uplifting side and gradually settles into a more relaxed state. The initial effect is typically clear, slightly energizing, and mood-boosting—good for creativity or social situations.

As it develops, a calmer body effect comes in, taking the edge off without becoming too heavy. Overall, it sits nicely between functional daytime use and relaxed evening sessions, depending on dosage.

Growing characteristics / Yield

This is a feminised photoperiod strain suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. Flowering time is around 8–10 weeks (roughly 60–65 days), making it easy to fit into standard grow cycles.

It shows moderate stretch, so some training (like topping or LST) is recommended to control height and improve canopy structure. Buds are dense and easy to trim, thanks to the strong bud-to-leaf ratio.

Yields are generally medium to high depending on conditions, with strong resin production making it a good option for extraction as well.
