Gulupa - Feminised - Paradise Seeds
Gulupa is a modern, indica-leaning hybrid that combines strong potency with a rich dessert-style terpene profile. Created from Gelato genetics, it focuses on resin production, dense flowers, and a deeply relaxing effect without becoming too heavy too quickly. It’s the kind of strain that feels refined and flavorful while still being practical and productive in the grow room.
Strain description
Appearance of the plants
Gulupa grows with a compact but vigorous structure, developing strong side branches and thick stems that support heavy flowers during late bloom. Indoors it stays fairly manageable, though it can stretch moderately during the first weeks of flowering.
The buds are dense, rounded, and heavily covered in trichomes, giving the plant a frosty white appearance as harvest approaches. Some phenotypes can also show darker shades of green or subtle purple tones under cooler temperatures. Overall, the flowers have that modern “top-shelf” look: compact, resinous, and visually clean with a very high calyx-to-leaf ratio.
Taste & smell
The terpene profile is rich and layered, leaning heavily toward sweet dessert notes. Creamy vanilla, sugary fruit, and citrus all come through clearly, backed by a slightly earthy and gassy background that keeps the flavor balanced.
On the inhale, Gulupa tastes smooth and sweet, while the exhale brings out more depth with subtle spice and fuel-like undertones. The aroma becomes quite strong late in flowering, especially after curing, where the creamy Gelato influence really stands out.
Effects
Gulupa delivers a strong but balanced indica-leaning effect. The high starts with a noticeable mental uplift—calming, positive, and slightly euphoric—before gradually settling into a deeper body relaxation.
Despite the potency, it usually avoids becoming overly sedating at first, making it suitable for relaxed evenings, social sessions, or creative downtime. In higher doses, the body effect becomes heavier and more physically calming, making it better suited for nighttime use.
Growing characteristics / Yield
This is a feminised photoperiod strain that performs well indoors and outdoors, especially in controlled environments where resin production can really develop fully. Flowering time is around 8–9 weeks, making it relatively fast for a strain with such dense flowers and high THC levels.
Gulupa responds well to topping, SCROG, and other canopy-control techniques due to its strong branching structure. Yields are high, with indoor harvests reaching around 500–600 g/m² under good conditions.
Because of the dense bud structure, proper airflow and humidity control are recommended during late flowering. Its heavy trichome production also makes it a strong candidate for extracts and concentrates.
