About Royal Queen Seeds
Royal Queen Seeds was founded in 2007 by a group of friends in Amsterdam, where they opened their first shop on the Damstraat. The company has since grown into one of Europe's best-known seed banks, with its headquarters near Barcelona and shops in Amsterdam, Barcelona and Marbella. Its team of breeders, growers, geneticists and biologists now looks after a catalogue of close to 150 strains.
From classics to F1 hybrids
The range combines reliable versions of famous strains such as Amnesia Haze, White Widow, Northern Light and Critical with modern favourites like Royal Gorilla, Green Gelato (Thin Mint Cookies x Sunset Sherbet) and Wedding Gelato. In 2023 Royal Queen Seeds launched its first F1 hybrids, bred from inbred parent lines for extra stability, vigour and uniformity, and in 2024 it started a collaboration with Tyson 2.0 that produced strains like Gelato 44 and Punch Pie. That same year Royal Queen Seeds was named best seed bank at Spannabis and at the International Cannabis Awards.
