About Anesia Seeds
Anesia Seeds started as a personal genetics collection. Co-founder Tanja and her partner travelled from the USA to India and other parts of Asia in search of special cannabis genetics, and the strains they selected and crossed soon drew attention from growers. Today Anesia Seeds is based in Reus, Spain, and has become one of the best-known names for modern, high-potency hybrids.
Bred for potency and flavour
Anesia's breeding focuses on careful selection over several generations. The goal is strong, resinous plants with a distinctive terpene profile, rather than THC alone. Many of the brand's best-known strains combine American dessert and gas genetics with heavy-hitting parents, which gives dense, frosty buds and loud aromas ranging from berries and candy to fuel.
Strains that made the name
- Future #1: the strain that put Anesia on the map, a cross of Gorilla Glue #4 and Starfighter F2 known for its extreme potency.
- Imperium X: a three-way cross with a striking palette of colours in flower.
- Blackberry Moonrocks: a dark-berry favourite and one of the parents of Frozen Black Cherry.
- Frozen Black Cherry: Pacific Frost crossed with Blackberry Moonrocks, with deep colours and a sweet cherry nose.
