Plant Appearance

Northern Lights Auto is based on NL × Green-O-Matic and develops a compact, sturdy frame with strong lateral branches and closely spaced flower sites. The dense, frost-coated flowers give the finished plant clear visual definition. This structure suits indoor growers with limited height and outdoor growers looking for a discreet, container-friendly plant.

Taste & Smell

The aroma and flavour combine sweet notes, earth, spice and floral notes. Earthy, herbal and spiced elements create a traditional profile with a savoury finish. It is best suited to consumers who appreciate earthy, skunky, herbal or hash-like character.

Effects

Northern Lights Auto offers an uplifting, clear effect that supports a bright mood and focused creativity. It is primarily suited to daytime, social or creative occasions where a heavy finish would be counterproductive. The profile will appeal most to consumers who value mental clarity over deep physical sedation.

Growing Characteristics & Yield

Northern Lights Auto is best suited to growers who want a light-independent cycle, efficient indoor use or a shorter outdoor season. The plant develops compact growth, so the available space and training plan should be chosen accordingly.

Indoor cultivation: Green House Seed Company lists an indoor flowering period of 8 weeks. The compact footprint works well in efficient layouts, but the inner canopy should remain open as the flowers become denser.

Outdoor cultivation: Outdoors, this autoflower is most useful in shorter seasons, smaller gardens or container-based setups. Start it in its final position once conditions are reliably warm, provide full sun and free-draining soil, and avoid heavy training that interrupts the short cycle.
