What exactly are Auto StarRyder genetics?

Auto StarRyder® is the outcome of a very successful project between Dutch Passion and 'the Joint Doctor'. The Joint Doctor is the original breeder of the Low Ryder genetics that heralded the start of a true autoflower revolution. After a few years of collaboration, this great autoflowering variety was created. An exceptional Dutch Passion Isis clone, a first class sativa with a premium quality high, has been carefully crossed by the Joint Doctor with one of his best indica dominant autoflower varieties.

The result is a very potent hybrid autoflower variety with an average time from seed to harvest time of 10 weeks. She produces a good yield of very resinous, potent cannabis buds. Auto StarRyder does well indoors on a 20-4 light schedule but can also be grown on other light cycles. In addition, it is also suitable for cultivation in greenhouses or outdoor growing.

Auto StarRyder is a compact medium sized autoflower. This strain usually grows with a compact Christmas-tree structure. Its branches are thick and sturdy and can bear large, fully-joined buds. In proportion to the plant, the flowers of this strain grow quite large. She is stocky and compact but well packed with buds. The favourable flower-to-leaf ratio also makes her well-suited for commercial growers looking for a quick, but big, yield.

Auto StarRyder's THC percentage averages between 15-19% THC and has contributed to its success. This is an autoflower with a good yield. This autoflower seed variety usually grows with a large main apex surrounded by a ring of large side blooms. Effects of Auto StarRyder

Auto StarRyder has a potent, strong and long lasting effect. The effect of the high is generally described as powerful, uplifting, stress-reducing and euphoric. Auto StarRyder grows and flowers very quickly for an autoflower. On average, she takes between 10 - 11 weeks to go from autoflowering cannabis seed to harvest. During this short period she grows vigorously with strong side branches to an average height of between 50-75 cm. This autoflower does well on all different light cycles and can be grown on 20/4, 18/6 or even 24/0. The most compact and fastest flowering phenotypes can be ready to harvest within 70 days, especially when grown in an optimised environment.

Auto StarRyder can also be grown outdoors or in a greenhouse. Outdoors, she usually needs 1 to 2 weeks longer to fully ripen. In general this will take her between 75-90 days from autoflower seed to harvest. Which is of course still very fast. With a grow cycle of about 2.5-3 months you can get two successive outdoor harvests even in temperate climates. In a sunny and dry climate you can complete 3 grow cycles in a single season. Provide a spot with good airflow and wind, this makes for stronger branches that will better support the weight of the buds.

The yield of Auto StarRyder

Auto StarRyder produces large resinous buds and yields between 45-100 grams per plant for the average grower. Experienced autoflower growers can achieve yields of over 100 grams per plant when grown in soil or coco. With hydro systems such as DWC (Deep Water Culture) in the hands of the very best growers, capable of growing 1m+ plants, yields of more than 200 grams per plant are quite possible.

She has received an ‘XL’ yield rating, meaning yields of around 500g/m2 can be achieved in a controlled indoor grow. In the hands of an expert, even higher returns are possible. Outdoors in a temperate climate you will be able to get around 25-75g per plant, depending on the season and the number of hours of sunshine per day. Yields of over 150g per plant are possible in a dry and sunny climate.
